I had searched the internet
and visited places such as Ashley & Martin and looked at other
methods of hair rejuvenation. I discovered during my investigations that
"micrografting" seemed to be the best way to "regrow" hair and the
easiest way to do it without constant treatments. After more research on
the internet looking for micrografting practitioners, I found Dr
Marzola.
This is me before treatment.

I really
wanted to improve my hair line and stop the receding at my temples. Even
though I wear a longer hair cut it still bothered me. |

Dr Marzola makes every effort to explain what he is going to do. |

Dr Marzola
prepared me for the operation by talking to me and advising me as to
what he was doing. I felt very comfortable. I was very surprised to find
that the anaesthetic was so effective and I didn’t even think he had
started harvesting my donor hair, when in fact he had already done it! I
had not felt a thing! |
|

|
I felt very comfortable
and at ease during the procedure and Dr Marzola asked me to tell him if I
felt any discomfort and then if needed he would administer more
anaesthetic.. |

During the procedure I was able to take a break and have some lunch which was great. |
|

After the procedure I was free to go home. |
Before I left I
was given a parcel with shampoo, pain killers and some sleeping tablets
and instructions on how to use them. The staff told me not to drive
home, to take it easy and not to do anything strenuous and to call them
if I had any problems or concerns. I felt happy that I had had the
procedure and was eager to go out for dinner to celebrate.
The
night of the operation I needed to take some pain killers and a
sleeping tablet to help me feel comfortable and I did this for the next 7
days. I also found that a glass of wine before going to bed helped ease
the discomfort too. I was fortunate to have kept my haircut in a longer
style as I had no problems with camouflaging my grafts and nobody
noticed the difference! |

On Day 7, I returned to the Surgery to review progress with Dr Marzola. |

On day 7 I
returned to see Dr Marzola so he could check on my grafts and how the
donor area was healing. The scabs on my grafts which had formed after
the procedure had all fallen off now which was good as the scabs felt
rather odd when I was washing my hair and I had to be very gentle with
them. |

According to
Dr Marzola all was going to plan and he reassured me that I would not
see anything for the next 3 months while the grafts settled and to
expect a decent amount of growth to be present after 9 months. | |
